Lt Thackers Rescue as described in a Stars & Stripes article. Lt Thacker received the Medal of Honor for his actions on FSB 6.
-------------------------
Lt. Thacker interview for Pritzker Military Library earlier this year. The interiview provides a great deal of background information that is not in the MOH citation. The Q&A was informative as well. Brian talks about Phillip B. Terrel and SFC Salley and that it was not the 1/92 who initiated the MOH citation.

THE WEBSITE IS GETTING A TUMMY TUCK, CHEEK IMPLANTS, BOTOX AND LIPOSUCTION . . . . IT WILL BE DOWN FOR QUITE A WHILE. It is a large site with a lot of pages and considerably more graphics. We have had complaints of a potential virus that is really a javascript that calls up another server that has a virus. The scipt was put on by someone who took the time to Hack into our site . . . . go figure? Why us? There is no cause for alarm. I will keep adding to the site until we have it all on and will work on putting a new Postings Page on quickly. SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE!!!!!

LZ Vera as told by Lawrence R. Seeley, a Rifleman with A Co., 1 st Bn, 35th Inf, 3rd Brigade, 4th Inf Division.
"If it was not for the gallant effort, support, and bravery from the men of Battery B, 1st Bn, 92nd Artillery and God I would not be here to give my account of that night."
